 Sharon Rose
Weatherly
Pastor of Spiritual Development
With a strong Christian heritage, as a third generation Pentecostal
believer and daughter of a minister/evangelist, Sharon accepted
Christ at age 5 and has been active in the local church her entire
life. Her passion and calling for equipping and encouraging
believers has encompassed over 20 years of teaching Adult Christian
Education. Sharon is an Ordained Minister, Certified Precept Upon
Precept Bible Teacher, Certified ACTS (All Church Training Series)
Leader, Certified Adult Teacher, graduate of “LLI” (Lay Leadership
Institute), lay counselor, and is in the midst of further Bible
training through Global University. Her secular career encompassed
over 25 years as an Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officers
in the public and private sectors.
Sharon has also ministered as an inspirational speaker/writer for
over 20 years with a vibrant message that crosses over
denominational lines, speaking in many church and para-church
settings, in the Ohio area and on the West Coast. Her first short
story was published in November 1990, in “Christian Parenting
Today,” and she is currently writing a book entitled, “Upsetting the
Applecart of Apathy.” Sharon has an insatiable desire for the Word
of God and a profound love for God’s people. A transparent exhorter,
she pastors, speaks and writes offering sensitive, sometimes
humorous, but always sincere, scripturally-based encouragement and
insights from a lifetime of experiences where God has been her rock,
her strength and high tower. Her heart’s desire is to help others
grow in their Christian walk and to know “Jesus never fails!”
Sharon and her husband Darryl have been married forty years, and
have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren.
