Christian Education SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT CLASSES 2008 FALL SESSION FREED FROM BONDAGE – A CHOSEN GENERATION Instructor: Pastor Sharon Weatherly In the Galatians study we will learn how to live confidently and be mighty overcomers as we understand God's unfailing love and grace. It has been said "salvation is free, but it isn't cheap." Together, we will be freed not only from the bondage of legalism, but the vastly misunderstood concept of "cheap grace," that undermines our "God-given/Holy Spirit provided" ability to be all we were meant to be through Jesus Christ and His Amazing Grace! In Ephesians we will be reminded of the awesome redemption provided by Christ's sacrifice ... and how we as the redeemed must live! Rather than "living lives just like the rest of the world," we will be challenged to return to our calling, freed from bondage . . . "a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; showing forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." 1 Peter 2:9-10 Please join us for this special time of warm fellowship and learning together.
